Mr. Basil J. Boritzki was a charter member of the Alpha-Rho Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity. Mr. Bill Lacy was a member of Alpha Rho Chapter of Sigma Pi and a career U.S. Army Officer. After his retirement from the Army, he created and marketed a daily planner for members of the military through a company he established. Bill ran the company so successfully that the Franklin Covey organization declined to compete with him and purchased that company instead. Unfortunately, Bill developed a cancer that took him from us far too soon. This scholarship was established in 2001 by his widow, Ann Lacy and contributed to by other alumni as well.
